If you have a minute, please watch the following video clip. Attraction Marketing Applied- Ezine Articles

Before Web 2.0 Internet marketing it was simply too expensive or too complicated for the average network marketer to afford and implement an effective marketing campaign.    With television, radio and print media out of reach the MLM industry resorted to tactics like the 3-foot rule, the warm market names list, and cold calling. But now, with Web 2.0 Internet Marketing, ‘non-techie’ networkers low on cash can realistically generate huge numbers of leads and attract their customers and prospects to them just like a real business.

One way that a marketer by attraction can get started with no cost is by submitting ezine articles to sites like EzineArticles.com  and content sharing sites like Squidoo and Hubspot. There a  number of others as well, each with its own style and requirements.

Some sites such as Ezine Articles are intended more for editorial and technical type content and have a higher standard for submission.  It’s thrust is less tolerant of “marketing” type of content but if the material is good it may get picked up by Editors looking for content for their ezines, and you gain the exposure with your “resource box”, that is the spot reserved for you to share about yourself and your website.

Some of the content sharing such as Squidoo, for example, you can do more of a “marketing pitch” with embeded links etc., however you still want to provide content of value.

The (3) Keys to Article Marketing:

 1.  Create great, original content to
position you as an expert in your niche.

 2.  Create great, original content that
does not “sell” or promote in your
     article body content, but provides
     useful information for your reader.

 3.  Submit your best original content
frequently to build a steady stream of traffic
     back to your website.

Each article you submit contains different components and sections. While some sections carry more weight than others; each section must be crafted with care and foresight. A truly great article can increase traffic to your website.

 1.  Proof your Work: Credibility and expertise in
your article subject matter can be diminished by
typos or grammatical errors in any part of your
     article. Here’s a proof-reading tip: Read your
work out loud. Often times this will help you
catch mistakes you missed while reading the
     article to yourself silently.

 2.  Keep Your Audience in Mind: If you are writing
an article on a technical topic, it’s fine to
use technical terms, but be wary of alienating
a wider target of readers with information they
may not be ready to understand or digest.

 3.  Keep An Ace Up Your Sleeve: Always keep a tidbit
of important information in reserve to make your
readers want more. Remember, your article can
generate traffic, so use the Resource Box to
entice your readers to click on your website
     link.

 4.  Be Clear and Concise in Your Writing: A 500 word
     article will always out-perform a 1000 word
article. You are writing for a medium that
     embraces instant gratification: the Internet.
Keep your articles clear and concise, so the
reader can quickly comprehend the quality
     content you are sharing.

Each of the sites have good training and tips as well as blogs written by those with experinec on writing articles that can really help.  As well, Renegade University provides excellent step by step video tutorials on how to register and submit articles at some of these sites.  The video tutorials are great because you can see exactly where to click and what to enter as well as numerous tips for improving your results in attracting a large list of customers or prospects.

Attraction Marketing applied - Blogging

Wednesday night Renegade University  sponsored a Webinar on Social Marketing, and how to use it to transform your business through attracting prospects and building a list or attracting customers to you, whether it’s for a networking business or a traditional business.

Interestingly enough BusinessWeek  recently ran an article:

“Social Media Will Change Your Business… Look past the yakkers, hobbyists, and political mobs. Your customers and rivals are figuring blogs out. Our advice: Catch up…or catch you later.”

Of course, blogs were only one of six different social marketing methods we went over on the Webinar.  Each of the Social Marketing methods we talked about, blogs and the rest of it, are going to revolutionize business, whether that’s a networking business or a traditional business.

How a Blog helps you grow your business:

- Gets people to your website

- Gets people to your lead capture pages

- Positions you  as the expert

- Pre Sells your prospects

- Builds Prospects list continously

- Increases Monetization (cash-flow)

- Brings People into your business

We’ll start with the basics.

What is a blog? I’ll give you a few definitions from Google.

  • Blog is short for weblog. A weblog is a journal (or newsletter) that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. Blogs generally represent the personality of the author or the website.
  • A blog is a website in which items are posted on a regular basis.
  • A frequent, chronological publication of personal thoughts and web links.
  • An online journal.

Obviously a blogger is someone who owns or operates a blog and blogging is considered updating or writing posts on your blog.

When you set up a blog for yourself you’re instantly adding to the professionalism of you and your business. Establishing yourself as an expert and authoritative figure is crucial to success in any industry. Having your own online presence with your own customized website that you have control over will help accomplish this.

Just ask yourself: What professional business doesn’t have their own website or blog? It’s hard to imagine any without one. Even supermarkets and gas stations have websites these days.

A major benefit of having your own blog that you cannot get with just an affiliate url is the free “organic” or “natural” search engine traffic that you’ll receive.

Just so you don’t get the wrong impression though, this isn’t something that happens overnight after your blog is built. You have to put some work into optimizing it so the search engines can easily find you. And also know that the search engine optimization process is never really over - there are things that can be done on a daily basis to improve your position or rankings in the search engines. But for now, just realize that if you have a blog you open yourself up to another (free) traffic opportunity that normally wouldn’t be available to you.

Network marketing on line - 5 point Business Plan

Five Point Outline for Your Business Plan

Here is a basic outline showing how to set up a Business Plan in the new attraction-based model of Network Marketing:

  1. Build your email list and attract prospects to you by setting up a simple Internet marketing process (i.e. advertise and track your results so you can do more of what works and drop what doesn’t).
  2. Create multiple income streams while you’re prospecting to cover your advertising costs or even make a profit while prospecting.
  3. Use auto email campaigns to continually attract higher and higher qualified prospects to you. Provide value to them in your emails.
  4. Provide value to your prospects when they contact you so they want more of you and not less. Never push your agenda. Provide prospects with solutions that are based on what they need right now. These could be products or services you sell, free assistance you offer to establish a relationship or, this could be something you offer to those who decide to join your network marketing team (as an incentive for them).
  5. Continue learning Internet marketing and people skills to attract a higher and higher caliber prospect as you go forward.

For learning to build a business online using attraction marketing and monetization principles I have found Renegade University  to be one of the best for the beginner and an excellent opportunity for the experienced guru to “monetize” their building efforts.  This course is committed to giving as many people as possible free access to Internet attraction marketing training so that more people can build their networking business in the modern age. In deed the material is highly beneficial to building any online business. At the heart of the university training is “attraction marketing” and “monetization” using Web 2.0 technology.

Attraction Marketing is playing a major role in professionalizing the networking industry by replacing the old-school ‘chase your prospects’ mentality with the more progressive approach of getting them to come to you by providing value and service first.

The University provides tons of free training… but when you’re ready you can upgrade to Renegade Professional where you are taught the most current (and easy to follow) methods at a cost anyone can afford and in a way all beginners can follow.

If you want to set up your own social marketing campaign that works for you night and day to bring endless prospects your way, who see value in what you offer before you even talk with them, Renegade University will show you how to do this at the Professional level. You can learn Adwords, Ezines and dozens of other methods (you choose) where there is built-in monetization so you actually generate your own prospect list without it costing you one cent.

By implementing just a couple of the techniques I have been able to generate cash and add to my list of contacts.

Internet Marketing is changing

Just as things change, people change, circumstances change, time moves on, so is internet marketing and building a business on line.  Are we ready to move on?

I am a baby boomer.  I can remember black and white TV, no computers or even calculators (fingers worked good).  I remember stories trying to explain to children what it would be like to go to the moon “it would take xxx months or years on a train” just to get there never mind coming back.

Speaking of trains.  We were living near Edmonton Alberta when we moved to Ft. McMurray.  The only way in was by train over the swamp.  It was a steam engine and because of the swamps had to go very slow.  It took us 6 days to make that trip which can be made now with cars over the road in 3 to 4 hours.  And Ft. McMurray?  Now that was another story.  At that time it wasn’t much more than a trading post on the river (okay a bit more but not much!).  Today it is a busy little city, the home of the Alberta tar sands having world wide impact.  Who would have thought back then that it would become what it did.

We moved to Ft. McMurray just when Network Marketing or MLM was getting its start, the beginnings.  Since then Networking has gone through its metamorphasis, going through tremendous changes since its early days and now entering into what Dr. Charles King refers to as “The New Professionals”. I will not take the time to go through those stages but the advent of the personal computer and FedEx have had a huge impact on how business is done.  Those that have changed with the times are reaping the benefits, Network Marketing and Direct Sales have gone on to become something of a major impact on the world.

The style of marketing is changing.  Moving from trying to beg or coerce family, friends, neighbors and any one within 3 feet to attracting new friends and building relationships. The methods of attracting customers or partners is changing.  WEB 2.0, the next wave or phase of the internet is here.  This has tremendous potential for what we can do to grow our businesses.

The sudden and fast rise of Social Networking is one of the key drivers (at least relative to what we are doing) in this change.  In a recent webinar at The Renegade University  we learned that 33% of internet users visit MySpace or have a page there, 29% either are on or go to FaceBook, 35% use YouTube. There are lots of Social Networking sites in cyber land with the number of users doubling every month. The top keyword searches bring up a social site.  Social buyers make 20% more and also spend 25% more of their income.  Some feel that over the next 2 years this is where the action is going to be and if we are going to take advantage of these trends now is the time to do it.

Social Networking is comprised of a lot of methods:

- Social Networking sites like Facebook, MySpace

- Social Bookmarking sites likeSocialMarker.com

- Content sharing like Squidoo and HubPages

-Video, Photo and Music Sharing Sites like YouTube, MetaCalfe, Flickr

- Blogging sites like SquareSpace,Wordpress or Blogger

- Adapters like Ezine Articles

If we are going to succeed in our business we are going to need to grow and develope in the relatively new art of attracting our customers not attacking.  Not really new, I recommend reading “How to Win Friends and Influence People” originally written in 1937.  (Okay - I guess some things never change). We need to be adapting to new methods using the tools of Social Networking to develope friendships and relationships so that people get to know, like and trust us.

Renegade University is expanding

I have found the Renegade University a great source of information for me. Not only excellent training, but a list of resources, and a way to earn extra income while building a list of friends and my primary business.

Over 2000 members have joined this month… proving just how much networkers need this kind of step-by-step help to start building their business in the modern age.

You’ll be able to leverage this to attract more (and higher quality) prospects to you, while increasing monetization (that means you earn more while you go about building the business you’re in right now).

With so many people eager to upgrade from the University level to Professional at same time, they are going to do it in two phases. They will be letting those of you who registered for the last Webinar know about it first. If you’re a part of that group you are more than welcome to email and contact your teams and prospects and let them know they can come in as well.

If you’re new to the University you have plenty to plug into and move forward with…

Log into your Renegade University account and get through the tutorials so you can get caught up and start attracting prospects to you using modern strategies. Be sure to watch the archived Webinar in the Step 3 area at the University if you haven’t already–and refer your team there. It’s a powerful introduction to all your marketing options. They will be taking that down soon so watch it while it’s still there.

Most importantly, if you haven’t picked up a copy of the University course book, do that now in Step 1 at the University I would suggest you do that. I found this book gave me a foundational understanding of where the networking industry is going and how I can start attracting prospects, while earning more and building my business with less effort. The step-by-step video tutorials make this realistic for anyone.

If you are not already part of the University you can get a FREE basic version just, click here: Renegade University  What I like about it is that it is generic training and is beneficial no matter what your primary business is.

Recession Creates An Explosive Industry

In recessions and economic down turns people …lost jobs, lost earnings, lost security, LOST HOPE…… Where were they to turn?

Evaluation of History

In the early 1950’s, there were no network marketing companies worth talking about. It was not until the late 1950’s that companies like, Shaklee, Neolife, and Amway were developed The unemployment rate was low in the first half (in fact in 1953 it was an all time low of 2.9%). In the last half of the 1950’s, the unemployment rate was highest since the Great Depression in 1958 it was at 6.8%.

The early 1960’s saw all networking continuing to flourish with advent of Mary Kay in 1963, and Avon, Tupperware, and Fuller Brush all achieving momentum. Again the late ‘60’s saw a great softening in the industry with no new companies coming on of any significance. Here we see the same scenario: unemployment high in the first half of the decade; over 2½ million workers were back to work in the second half.

1980’s: again we saw the network marketing industry really flourish in the first half; while in the second half of the decade, it softened and many network marketing “fiascos” occurred. When networking is soft, people and companies take more risks. There were twice as many lawsuits in the second half of the 1980’s as were in the first half. In the first half the unemployment rate reached its highest level in 40 years at 9.7%. While at the end of the ‘80s there were almost ½ the number out of work as there were in the early ‘80’s.

In the1990’s the trend continued. In the early 1990’s (1990- 1994) huge momentum in the industry, in fact “there was more wealth created in by way of MLM from 1990 to 1994 than any other time in history.” (Network Marketing Lifestyles May 2000). From 1996-1999, we had a network marketing recession. In the early 1990’s, the unemployment rate was very high and then in the later years in the 1990’s it hit a 30 year low of 4.2%.

Why were the 1970’s an exception? They really were not but they played out differently. It was an exceptional decade…the first half of the ‘70’s saw unemployment rates jump. The attention to network marketing took off. However, with all the heightened attention, five times as many lawsuits were filed from 1970-1974 than all of those filed in the ‘50’s and ‘60’s, and the big one, Amway, which challenged the very existence of network marketing, lasted until finally beomg settled in 1979. This legal dispute of course dampened what otherwise would have been a greater boom in network marketing in the second half of the decade. In the first half, recession of ‘73-’75, many MLM companies’ growth took off.

Where are we headed in 2008? All major indicators suggest recession: stock market, credit card debt, mortgage foreclosures, fall of the dollar against foreign currencies, company earnings reports across all sectors, manufacturing sector, employment figures, etc.

How do we take advantage of this opportunity?

Do we market products? This does not solve the average person’s perceived need/want. Health and many other items can not be a major priority in this time. During times of recession peoples attention turns to a “just trying to get by” mentality. What we should be doing is making a shift to support people in building residual streams of income to empower them to withstand any kind of economic downturn. “Recession causes people to open their minds to gaining alternative sources of income.” Lou Clements, Marketwave Inc.

What are the selling points of a network marketing business?

(a) Security (not found in a recession)

(b) Financial freedom

 (c) Time freedom

(d) Self-development

(e) Self-employed; no boss so no sacrifice of your own values; Creating your own standard for the ethics in your business

(f) Time freedom

(g) Purpose driven: helping others with focus on them

(h) Unlimited income: no one telling you what you are worth

(i) Residual income

(j) Dream again

(k) Great relationships

(l) Reduce stress

(m) Great incentives to get opportunities to travel the world

(n) No employees

(o) Tax benefits are terrific.

I am finding that The Renegade System and University fit within this model perfectly as an approach to support people in gaining streams of residual income.

Use this as an answer to the upcoming recession.

Need…fulfillment; we must learn how to promote the business and do it well. Those who do will surely be overwhelmingly successful in the next year.

SO, STRAP YOURSELF IN AND GET READY FOR THE RIDE OF YOUR LIFE!!

The Renegade - marketing by attraction

Hazel and I have been involved in the Network Marketing industry for just over 10 years now. However, even though we had some very modest success we were not progressing as fast or as far as we wanted to. We had gone through our warm market and had some good referrals coming in, but we came to a place where we needed something to help us take our home based business to the next level. Enter “The Renegade Marketer” and “Renegade University” …………but before I tell you about that let me share with you my story of how I came to them because that will give a real personal illustration of what the renegade system is about.

I like to research and study and learn new things especially in areas that I am concerned or connected with. Well, a couple of years ago someone forwarded an email or I read in an email somewhere about this guy Mike Klinger and some of the things he was doing. We were in a home based business with different sponsor lines but the same primary company so I was intrigued and joined his email list and visited his website, even joined the “free” version but never really did anything else with it except to keep getting his emails (which I very occasionally read) to follow his progress etc. Well wouldn’t you know it, just a few weeks ago I got an email that said “your account is about to be terminated unless you login and renew” (or something to like that) and something to the effect that he was implementing a new system called “The Renegade Sytem”. Well I didn’t want to miss out so I went to the link provided and signed up for the free version again. Even though I had built up some trust in Mike because he had shown himself stable I liked the idea of being able to evaluate the system before jumping in. I was quite impressed with what I saw. I took the time to listen to some of the training presented. Now I have admit I cheated a bit and even went to step two of Renegade University without finishing step one. I liked what I heard; I like Mike Klingler’s teaching style – clear concise and easy to follow without any hype or rah rah rah. And so I became part of “The Renegade University”

So you say “what is the point of this little personal story”? Well because it illustrates the philosophy (or at least part of it) of the Renegade System which is “attracting contacts” by providing something of value rather than “attacking” friends and family or anyone else who comes with in “3 feet” and trying to force them to buy something or get involved in  your latest scheme. Somewhere along the line someone had got my attention and then eventually (without harassment) something really got my attention and I was ready to move on the information I was given. This is one of the things “Renegade University” does “Teaching Attraction Marketing”.

Some of things I really like about it.

- It is easy for the beginner to start.

- It is designed and paced with the beginner in mind. Easy step by step training – you’re never left guessing what to do next so that you can create instant results and to get confidence soaring. You can literally start generating prospects within days.

- It shows you how to get paid as you generate massive leads with Blogs, SEO optimization, E-zine and article submission, Social Networking, PPC and more and designed to promote you and not the system’s creator.

- It’s all here in ONE place… like you’ve never seen before… and you simply follow it step-by-step in precision ‘Show Me How to Do It’ detail.

- The experience internet guru (and beginner) can begin earning money right away by “monetizing”

I think a quote from Mike’s experience would really explain this:

“I’ve also spent hundreds of thousands of dollars (yes, really) testing different types of Internet marketing processes while searching for the ‘magic’ formula so others could build their business in a more practical way. It was challenging and, at times, discouraging for my team.

After testing this new attraction model I was completely blown away by the results… making $2912.50 in my first 12 days while I attracted 255 prospects changed how I’ll be building my business forever… I literally stopped everything I had been doing with my team and threw it out the window.

I was even more shocked by the results my team was getting their first few weeks into it… These were people who knew nothing about Internet Marketing prior to this. And that’s what inspired us to create “Renegade University”.”

One of the things I hear so often in Networking circles is that so many have spent so much in their efforts to build a business only to be disappointed in the end. There are the start up costs, on going monthly requirements, advertising and prospecting tools, meetings, trainings, corporate events and the list can go on. “The Renegade Marketer” teaches how to “monetize” your prospecting – how you can make and should make money in your efforts that will offset your costs and even give you a positive cash flow. This just makes good business sense to me.
